Spring Into Summer Package
Package includes the following services: Tine Rake, Lawn Aeration, and Starter Fertilizer. (Optional - Slit Seeding)
PLEASE CALL for Spring Clean Up Pricing as this is different from the spring lawn package. This involves using mowers and power blowers for the clean up. (705) 257-8497
Why do we tine rake instead of using a power dethatcher?
Dethatching is very hard on the grass and root system, and should only be done when there is about 3/4 inches of thatch and in the fall. Dethatching should not be done in the spring. If the lawn does not have 3/4 inch of thatch, a dethatch is not needed as the lawn is successful at breaking down the thatch by itself.
We tine rake the lawn to remove some of the excess thatch which can prevent air and moisture from getting to to the soil with minimal damage to the grass. This still results in large quantities of thatch removed, as well as lifting up living matted grass.
The second step is core aeration, we leave the cores on your lawn as they will naturally breakdown after a few rainfalls, returning the nutrients found in the cores back to the soil.

The Final step is fertilizing
We use a granular fertilizer that helps to produce lots of green leafy growth, root development and disease resistance.
If there is a specific fertilizer that you would like us to use let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
