Aerating Services
Why should I aerate my lawn?
Overtime, a lawns soil becomes compacted, and hard. This makes it difficult for water, air and nutrients to reach the grass roots.
It can also be useful to aerate if you have more than a 1/2 inch of thatch as it will help to breakdown the thatch allowing your lawn to break it down naturally, thus reducing the amount of fertilizer needed.
The Best time's to aerate early spring and late fall.
Benefits of Core Aeration (taken from ryanturf.com)
What does a lawn aeration include?
A lawn aeration includes a complete lawn aeration using a power core aerator. This will leave little cores of soil left on your grass like the picture seen above. These cores or plugs, are left on the soil to break down, to become part of the soil again.
We also use a small hand aerator to reach areas that cannot be reached with the power aerator.
